My congratulations on a rather spiffing cider. Please send more to the Fox Inn, Hermitage. It has gone down a treat. An absolute treat. Please send more. We love it! With much admiration. Viv Wilson. Jan 26th 2010 Really good cider, in fact, probably the best we've tasted in a long while... cloudy, golden applely deliciousness comparable with the best of Normandy ciders and lacks the gassiness that you get in the current mass produced filth on the market! Davinah Caines. Feb 1st 2010 Cider arrived today and we are very much enjoying it! Now all we need is a source here in Battersea! Amanda Wilkinson Dotseth. Feb 5th 2010 Tutts Clump cider really was the find of our Beer and Sausage Festival last weekend. It was the first time we'd had Local Real Cider and the mini-pin we started with sold out long before the Friday night was over. The 40 pint barrel that was promptly delivered on Saturday morning didn't last long either. A real star performer. We still have bottles of the Cider and the Perry and we'll be stocking these permanently as well as taking steps to get Tutts Clump in on draught. Its also become Angie (the landlady's) new favourite tipple! Stuart Bull. 23rd Feb 2010 love the stuff, I don't normally like to get the same cider twice at the Reading beer fest cos it stops me trying others, but I did have to get this one twice! Charlie Moore. 8th Mar 2010 What a great cider! I tried it first at the Cricketer's Arms, Wheatley. Just brought a bottle home and really good. Looking forward to sampling the Perry! Deborah Stewart. 8th Mar 2010 Bring back the Henley Come Together festival, it's a perfect place to sip some Tutts :) Had some of your lovely brew in the Retreat today :) I remember driving through Tutts Clump a few years ago when I was just exploring on a pointless drive and thought it was a really cool name for a place. It's even better since last year when I learnt that real cider comes from there. Charlie Moore. 11th March 2010. Enjoying the 18 pints I bought from you in the week Tim! The missus drinks it as well so we will be back for more soon! Excellent stuff - the best around! Cheers Pat. Patrick Kyle. 26th March 2010 Tim, I want to go on record to say a very big thank you for your kind and generous donation of cider in support of the Watermill Theatre charity. It was a pleasure to meet you and I wish you every success for the future. Jane Minchin. 1st April 2010 HI, I am after quite a few bottles of your cider. This is the best cider I have ever drunk. Please can you advise if I can buy it from you directly. Many thanks. Tracy Collins. 27th April 2010 Many thanks for your kind words, and for your cider which we have now sampled and very much enjoyed. Now we know why your cider has acquired such a good reputation in such a short time. Good to know that there is a quality local cider maker to whom we can direct business that we can not supply because of our old fashioned and limited production. Every good wish for the future. Robert Fitchett. Upton Cider Company. 28th April 2010. The Big Apple Cider and Perry Trials at Putley Herefordshire 2010. Tim I looked up your results and you were 7th out of 26 in the draught medium cider and 14th out of 27 in the medium/sweet Perry. Very respectable results for Putley. John Parry. 4th May 2010. Tim - Best of luck to you and the business. I recently sampled Tutt's Clump at The Winning Hand on the A4/Bath Road near Padworth. I liked it so much I brought some home with me to Dublin. Delighted to learn of your well deserved success at the Royal Windsor Race Course Cider festival. Robert Fitchett. Upton Cider Company. August 24th 2010. Thank you for arranging the three 20 litre bag in box cider at such short notice for the Hampton Court Palace Beer and Jazz Festival in London. It went down very well I had about half a box left which I've been selling as our guest cider at Borough Market this week! By the way it's delicious. Mary Topp. New Forest Cider. September 27th 2010. We bought some from you at Newbury Show and are hooked, just discovered its on sale at the Bell in Aldworth, definately worth the walk over the hill from Blewbury to sample some more :-)Lisa Shayler. October 27th 2010. Just had my first bottle of Tutts (of many more I'm sure) yesterday at the Nags Head, Reading. What a great discovery. Thanks Tim! Sunil Gandhi November 22nd 2010 It was fantastic to have a real life local celebrity that is your cider at our quiz with a twist night at Bradfield Primary School the other evening, and I know people loved it, and I believe was all sold. It added dimension to the bar, and gave people a different choice. Suzanne Giaever-Enger 28th March 2011 Hi Tim I picked up a couple of bottles of your Royal Wedding Cider from Cobbs yesterday - excellent stuff! Very refreshing for a 7% volume drink! I will be taking more Tutts Clump refreshment later at the 4 Points as booked in there early evening! Keep up the good work! Cheers Pat. Patrick Kyle 3rd April 2011 Enjoyed the very nice sausages with added 'Tutts Clump Cider' Very enjoyable Royal Wedding Cider too. Thanks.
Caroline Lakeman. 12th April 2011 Hi Tim, just to let you know the Tutts Clump Royal Wedding Cider is going down a treat at Borough Market, lots of people buying it as a collectors edition, and enjoying a guzzle on the stand too! Mary Topp. New Forest Cider 14th April 2011 Just proof read 8 pages of Ullage with a glass of your Special Reserve. How do you do it? Excellent. Steve Kelly 14th April 2011 I have to say that I have a tendency to favour a good many Herefordshire Ciders and Perries and whilst I have enjoyed some of the offerings from Bucks, Northants and Oxon to name but a few non-west country producers your’s was one of the first to make me really sit up and take notice that really, really top notch stuff can be produced in a county less known for Cider and Perry. Steve Finney 23rd April 2011 Your cider is going really well!!! Fantastic. We are almost out of your 9 gall barrel in a week, so will need another as soon as you can. Many thanks. James Penlington (The Royal Oak Marlow) 24th April 2011 The winning ciders at the recent Reading Beer and Cider Festival must have been *really* special if they beat Tutts Clump! Andy Roberts 1st May 2011 Loved the medium sweet repress, thanks for the honour of being one of the first to try it! Needless to say it evaporated of its own accord - please may I have some more? Maggie Roberts 1st May 2011 I just want to say that the 'Royal Wedding' cider is well worth a try! Will definitely be having more of this soon! Well done on such a good cider! Laura Dowling 1st May 2011 Today has been a good day. All the fun at the fayre was had at Bradfield Mayfayre, with a couple of pints of Tutts Clump Cider in the sun. Cheers guys! Chris Daish 2nd May 2011 We worked on the cider bar at the recent Reading Beer and Cider Festival, and we didn't like the winning cider! Not a patch on Tutts Clump in our opinion. Debbie Cook 4th May 2011 Yum just had a lovely chicken salad washed down with a cold bottle of your lovely Tutts Clump Cider. Cheers Tim. Happy days :) Zara Nash 17th May 2011 A few months ago I used half a pint of Tutts Clump Farmhouse as the stock in a rather good casserole. It was extremely good. Simon Peter French 18th May 2011 We had a cider testing contest at our son's first birthday, in preparation for our wedding cider toast, and you came out top. Most people in Berkshire and Northamptonshire prefer Tutts Clump Cider! Good Work Keep It Up! Andy Moore 3rd June 2011 Just cracked open my first bottle of your perry. By far the best I've tasted! Huw de Chroustchoff 14th June 2011 Bought a bottle of Tutts Clump Cider at a farmers market while camping at Wallingford. It really is the BEST ever Cider and trust me I've had a lot! It really is the best. No other stuff comes close! Lisa Ludewig 21st August 2011 Thanks again for the cider it was delicious, my wife enjoyed it too, it was absolutely incredible! (in fact the best cider I have ever tried!) the Perry was also delicious! Nat Schooler 29th October 2011 Very impressed with the Dry (Special Reserve). An initial yeasty nose but soon replaced with lots of fruity character. The light fizz is just about the right level of 'condition' and the CO2 complements the rest of the flavour. A
very good quality cider in the 'Eastern Counties' style. Can you do that reproducibly?
